Year 7 Admissions for September 2022
The outcomes of applications to the school for Year 7 places in September 2022 were released by their local authorities on 1st of March 2021, National Offer Day.
Lady Margaret School outcome letters were dispatched on Wednesday, 2nd March 2022.
Under the terms of the 1998 Education Act, parents whose children are not offered a place at the school of their choice may appeal against the decision to an independent panel. If you decide to appeal, you must lodge the official appeal form with the Clerk to the Independent Admission Appeals Panel at the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, not the school. You should use the appeal form below which is also available from the school office. You must set out in the form the grounds on which the appeal is made and enclose any supporting documents. If you wish to appeal you should send the appeal form to the address on the form for receipt no later than Wednesday, 11th May 2022.
It is anticipated that appeals will take place in June and July and will be held over a number of days. Parents who lodge an appeal will be given at least 10 school days’ notice of their hearing. No places have been kept to be filled on appeal. Last year out of ten appeals heard one was successful.
