Donations

The Rose Fund relies on donation. If you wish to make a voluntary contribution to The Rose Fund, please use the paypal donation process below.

The Rose Fund

At Lady Margaret School we have always requested an additional voluntary contribution from parents to help us provide funding for activities which are not covered by our school budget.  This fund is known as The Lady Margaret School Rose Fund.

With central government funding increasingly under pressure, The Rose Fund has now become an essential source of income to enable the school to provide the extra-curricular opportunities and learning environment that are so critical to the school’s ethos and the ‘rounded’ education we feel the girls deserve.

This year we are urging parents to donate to The Rose Fund in support of the following causes:

1.    Extra-Curricular Activities

Music choirs, orchestras and ensembles, the Rock Challenge dance competition, cricket, rowing and counselling are just some examples of the extra-curricular activities which The Rose Fund provides to all of our students.

2.    Redecoration of C Block

We have redecorated and provided new furniture for ten English and Modern Foreign Languages classrooms.

To donate, please complete the attached donation and gift aid form and select the amount of donation you would like to make.  Please feel free to donate more if you are able to do so.

To donate easily, the school has also provided a variety of payment methods, ranging from a one-off donation by cheque or cash, to monthly, quarterly or annual standing orders from your bank account.

To donate and increase your contribution by 25%, please complete the attached Gift Aid form.  Gift Aid applies to all donations whether they are cash, cheque and standing order.  You just need to be a UK Taxpayer, complete the Gift Aid form and send it in with your donation.

To donate via Paypal using the PayPal link if you will like to make a single payment online.

Please do take a look at the attached newsletter to see more examples of how The Rose Fund was used for the students of Lady Margaret School last year.

In the meantime should you have any questions about The Rose Fund and making a donation please contact the School’s Finance Manager, Mrs Fleming on cfleming@ladymargaret.lbhf.sch.uk or 020 7736 7138.

Thank you very much for making a much-needed contribution to The Rose Fund.

Other ways of giving
The school has benefitted greatly over the years from the generosity of friends parents, students, governors and staff.

In 1937 Elm House, the second Georgian house was purchased to enable the school to expand thanks to the generosity of Miss Anne Lupton.

A legacy from a former student that has enabled the alumnae association, LMX, to be created and a former Chair of Governors donated money to enable pupils to be taught to play musical instruments.
